![]() ![]() Jumper wires - to connect all the pieces together.Resistors - to control voltage in created circuits. In this paper, we are proposing an IoT based Smart dustbin monitoring system with dynamic scheduling and routing of trash collector along with moisture. Up to 8 times more trash can be held before pick up, then compared to traditional options.Breadboard - to create a prototype we don’t need to be welding anything.LEDs - four LEDs of different colors to indicate sorting fraction. Our main objective is to make the process of waste collection and segregation easier using technology and maintaining a clean country by using it. Our project Smart Trash Bin helps to solve the problems related to garbage management. I used HC-SR04, as it’s cheap and yields very good results. So, we are implementing technology for solving this problem in our country. It sorts and compresses the waste automatically, controls the fill level and processes data for convenient waste management. Distance Sensor - to capture photos from controlled distance. Bin-e is an AI-based smart waste bin, designed for public places, enabling them to simplify recycling.Raspberry Pi Camera - to capture photos of trash for classification. ![]() ![]() I used model 4B with 2GB of RAM, but Raspberry Pi Zero shold be enough and is certainly more convenient when it comes to size & cost. The set of components required for our device to be fully operational is quite minimal and setting it up shouldn’t be a problem even if you are just starting your adventure with microcomputers (which was the case for me). An IoT-based system is proposed in 54 that is used for waste management with the help of K-Query scheduling. It turned out to be a perfect fit for all the RPi components and wiring and, at the same time, an accurate replica of what the target device could look like. Bin is a 100% recycled prototype built from Ariel washing capsule box. ![]()
